VIVO Nex S is expected to launch in the Indian market in the month of July or may extend to August 1st week. The device is having yet another model name of VIVO NEX Ultimate. The device will launch with a ₹ 47,990.00 price tag and will have Funtouch Custom User Interface out of the box. The device will feature the latest Android Oreo version. It is also speculated that the device will get a Android P update.  Nex S will have quick charging, finger print scanner features and will feature dual SIM slots.  

Display and Design

We can expect the device in 2 color variants, Diamond Black along with a Ruby Red variant. The phone will have a 7.9*77*162 mm dimension and will have a 199 grams weight. Nex S will have a glass back along with dotted dark grey surface. The device isn't shining type, but it the back region gives a great look for Nex S.

Front size is built with a 6.59 inch Super AMOLED display and will have a 19.3:9 aspect ratio. 86.47% Screen to Body ratio gives a bezel free look for the smartphone. The device will have a 1080*2316 pixel screen resolution and will give you a great experience.

Storage and Performance

The device will have a excellent 128 GB internal memory. This feature is best in class and gives a tough competition for Huawei P10 and iPhone X. Nex S doesn't offers an expandable storage option. But it is difficult to conclude it as a drawback as 128 GB storage looks enough for a normal user. 

Nex S will be a great performer with the courtesy of Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and Octacore processor. Adreno 630 graphics card will aid in operating high graphics applications. An 8 GB RAM makes the performance sector even more effortless.

Battery and Camera

The device is fueled with 4000 mAh Li-Polymer battery. It is rumored that, Nex S will offer a normal usage of 22 hours. Along with the huge battery, Nex S offers quick charging feature and the battery is non removable. 

The device has been already attracted with its pop up camera features. The sensor will detect during the selfies and will give you high quality images. The selfie camera is built with a 8 MP camera and will have a physical aperture of f2.0.

The primary camera will have 12 MP main sensor along with a 5 MP secondary sensor. The dual LED Flash will give you great pictures in any modes. The camera is powered with a f1.8 physical aperture and will give you images of the quality 4000*3000 pixels. It will have Exposure compensation, ISO control settings and will have Continuous, High Dynamic Range mode (HDR) Shooting modes. Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus will be the other notable camera features from VIVO.

Other Feature

VIVO Nex S is the first device to have in-built finger print scanner. This gives a great look for the device.  Nex S will have dual SIM slots and both will be powered with 4 G network. Along with these, the smartphone will have all the standard connectivity option and offers Bluetooth v5.0. The GPS will be powered with A-GPS and have Mass storage device, USB charging USB options. It will have the basic Light, Proximity, Accelerometer, compass and Gyroscope sensors.

Verdict

Nex S comes with a set of innovative features. Pop up camera has been the main allure from the manufacturer. The device will have a huge storage capacity along with a performance aimed features. The device looks great with a huge screen to body ratio and build with excellent display features. Oppo Nex S is built with great features, if you aren't worried about the price tag you can go for the device.
