Royal Challengers Bangalore Team Preparation 2018
Royal Challengers Bangalore will play their 1st match of IPL11 on 8th April 2018 against Kolkata Knight Riders. The team is led by none other than Indian Run Machine and skipper Virat Kohli. The team is one of the tournament favorites with its star studded line up and support from huge number of passionate fans.The team is said to be as one of the most consistent IPL team ever. Although they were known for their consistency, it has been the most unlucky cricket team, which never won a IPL title,despite 3 final appearances. Vettories role as head coach was impressive in previous seasons. In the auction they made some good bids, especially they showed more interest in recruiting batsmen's. Bangalore has already began their training sessions and each players are hardworking for the team.
RCB players started their training sessions on 22nd March. Only few domestic players were present in the day. Parthiv Patel, Jaydev Unadkat tried some new tricks from the bat and ball. These players were part of every practice sessions of RCB. On 24th March RCB announced replacement for injured Coulter Nile as Corey Anderson.In their following days, players had some TV interactions. On 26th March RCB on their twitter page announced that,"HP as their principal sponsors". They also announced on their match reschedule against Delhi Daredevils due to election. They swapped the venue for the matches. RCB continued their practice in the presence of Daniel Vettori in their next sessions.Captain Virat Kohli joined the squad on 31st March. After investing a few hours in warm up, he directly started the batting preparations. New recruit, Brendon McCullum also joined the team on April 1. They were actively participated in the practice sessions. They spent their free time with their die hard fans. With only a few days left to IPL, RCB players will hard work for their maiden title for sure. There are some overseas players, who are yet to make the squad. AB Devilliers, Quinton de Cock, Tim Southee, Corey Anderson will appear in the practice sessions after they finished their commitment with the National teams.
RCB is the most balanced IPL team this year. They have good batsmen's and bowlers. AB Devilliers, Sarfaraz Khan, McCullum, Kohli will be a nightmare for any world class bowling line up. They also have some good experienced spinners. Washington Sundar who played for India in Nidahas trophy was impressive in the series. He was awarded with Man of the Series. He will be surely an advantage for the skipper to bowl in the power plays. If the batting order produced some good knocks, it will be easier for the bowlers to win the match.
