F7 Lacks Features to Brawl the Competitors

The Oppo F7 has released in the Indian market on April 2. The comes in 32 GB and 64 GB variants. The 32 GB is priced at ₹ 21,990 and the 64 GB variant is available from ₹ 26,990.  The phone comes with the latest Oreo 8.1 version. The phone had a huge expectations from the customers and disappointed with the price tag. The features of Oppo f7 elucidated below.  

Display and Design

Considering the design part, the phone is having glossy back and a glass-like finish and a compact body. 7.8 mm thickness gives an awesome look to the device. The phone is having 3 color varieties, Solar Red, Moonlight Silver, Diamond Black.

The 6.23 inch screen will output detailed images of 1080*2280 pixel images. It's having a higher picture density of 405 ppi. It's having a 82.06 screen to body ratio and is protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass v5.

Storage and Performance

The phone gives 2 variants in its storage, 32 GB and 64 GB. Both can be expanded using external storage of up to 256 GB.

The phone have excellent performance features. MediaTek Helio P60 chipset is the best in the range of phones.  Octa core (2 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A73 + 2 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A53) helps you to work on multiple tasks in same time. The 4 GB RAM gives you effortless usage.

Camera and Battery

The phone lacks dual camera feature, which is a trend in the current scenario. It is having a 16 MP Primary camera with CMOS image sensor. The primary camera gives image quality of 4616*3464 pixels. AR stickers, panorama mode makes the camera part attractive. The expert mode will be handy in adjusting the shutter speed, EV, and ISO. The rear camera is having an amazing 25 MP camera and helpful in capturing selfies in low light conditions.

The 3400 mAh Li-ion battery is having a capacity of 17 hours HD video viewing. Although it is having a decent battery, lacks quick charging quality.

Other Features

The phone have basic wi-fi, hotspot connectivity features. The finger print sensor is placed rear in side. The game acceleration feature helps you to play game without heating up. This feature also turns off the notifications from other apps. The face unlock feature helps the users to place the phone securely.

Oppo has launched F7 Cricket Limited edition and will give the live sale through Flipkart on 14th May. The device is mainly aimed to secure the Cricket fan attention to this device. It comes with Rohit,Hardik and Ashwin edition phones. The phone will come with a cricket case cover and signatures of the three brand ambassadors inside the retail box.  The phone is having similar specifications like the F7.

Verdict

The phone is having tough competition from Vivo V9 and Moto X4 which are same range phones. Vivo V9 is having great camera's than Oppo and Moto X4 have overall dominance. Oppo's price tag is a little worry and you can buy it if you prefer a stylish phone.
