HUAWEI HONOR 7A VS HUAWEI HONOR 7C

Huawei has recently announced two budget phones  under their 7 series, Honor 7A and Honor 7C. Both phones are yet to reach the market. Honor 7 C is announced to launched on 31st May as an Amazon exclusive. The phone will come with a price tag of ₹9,999. Honor 7 A will be a Flipkart  exclusive and will have an expected price tag of ₹8,999. Both phones will feature the latest Android v8.0 (Oreo). Huawei hasn't announced the launch date of 7C yet, but it is speculated to be a May 29 release.   

Design and Display

Considering the design part, both having a superb thickness of 7.8mm. The 7A takes the advantage in the weight section with 150 grams contrast 164 gm of 7C. But it's basically because of 158.3 mm height of 7C. The 7 C comes with Metal back. Both devices are available in Black, Blue and Golden colors.

Both phones are having average display features. Especially, the screen to body ratio. Honor 7C is having 5.99 inch large display collate 5.7 inch display of 7A. Both will feature a 720*1440 pixels Screen Resolution. The IPS LCD display of 7A outputs 282ppi Pixel Density and 7C  features 269ppi.  

Storage and Performance

 Considering the performance criteria, both are loaded with amazing performance features, with an advantage for 7C. While 7C features a Snapdragon 450, 7A is having a Snapdragon 430 MSM8937. Octa core, 1.8 GHz, Cortex A53 looks decent for the 7C but 7A's Octa core, 1.4 GHz, Cortex A53 will give an average performance. Both phones have 3 GB RAM for an effortless performance. Adreno 506 GPU will output high quality graphics for the 7C model. In contrast, 7A will have a Adreno 505 graphics card.   

Both are having 32 GB built in memory and can be upgraded up to 256 GB using an external SD card.

Battery and Camera

The dual primary cameras of 13 MP+2 MP is same for both the devices. It is one of the best in this range of smartphones.  The camera is capable of recording videos of 1920*1080 @ 30 fps. 8 MP front camera gives you high quality images and having LED Flash feature. The camera component looks same for both devices. 

The 3000mAh Li-ion battery looks great for both the devices. 7A is expected to last a bit longer than 7 C due to its display features. Non-removable battery's verdict will be based on the user preferences.  

Verdict

Both phones are having almost similar features. But 7 C takes an upper hand in the performance norm. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 is best in the range of smartphones. Within the available rumors 7A is having an advantage of ₹1,000 over 7C. So if you aren't so much concerned about the performance you can go for 7 A.
