FIFA WORLD CUP 2018 GROUP ANALYSIS- GROUP E

Group E will have brawny Brazil along with Switzerland, Serbia and Costarica. The 5 time World Cup winners Brazil looks group favorites considering their experience and talents. Predicting the top 2 teams will be easier as Costarica and Serbia team looks fragile team in the group. But it cannot be predicted accurately as we have seen some unexpected performances from weak team in the World Cup. 

BRAZIL

Brazil faced a 7-1 assault from Germany in their last World Cup appearance. But the 2018 Russia World Cup will be their opportunity to heal the wound. They are the first team to qualify for the FIFA World Cup. Their qualification match against Argentina was one of their best performance recently clinching a 3-0 win over the team.  Adinor Bacchi(Also known as Tite), Brazil coach's tactics has been key in Brazil's success. They just faced 1 defeat after his appointment in 2016. Out of 16 matches under the coach, Brazil were victorious in 13 matches and 3 being a draw. Neymar will be the key player for the side. Coutinho, Gabriel Jesus, Casemiro, Marcelo, Paulinho can make wonders in the given opportunities. 

SWITZERLAND

Switzerland is expected to make the knock out stage after their last appearance in the 1954 quarter final. The 2007 Under 17 World Cup has been vital in producing some young talents for 2018 World Cup. With weak Serbia and Costarica teams are in the team, surpassing the group stage will be a easy walk for the team. Udinese will be the key payer for the side and will be crucial in deciding Switzerland's performance. Vladimir Petkovic has to find some new solutions for their weakness in the attacking side. Akanji will be the strength of defending order. 

COSTARICA

After the quarter final achievement in the last World Cup edition, Costarica are aiming for another golden run in the World Cups. They are making their 5th World Cup appearance. Coach Oscar Ramirez's recent appointment is yet know the impact on the team. Real Madrid  goalie, Keylor Navas will be the key player for the team. His performance in the 2014 World Cups was impressive.Bryan Ruiz's attacks has been deadly for the opponents. Celso Borges will secure the mid field.  Last year, Costarica had friendly bouts against Spain and Hungary. The team was impressive in the matches and aiming to continue the same form. 

SERBIA

After their group stage appearance in the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Serbia has been once again qualified for the World Cup edition. Their best performances in the tournament was to secure the 4th spot. But it was in their vintage times.  They are yet to make a good performance in this century. After their successful qualification for the World Cup journey, Serbia removed Slavoljub Muslin from the coaching position. Mladen Krstajic was appointed as the temporary coach for the team.  Aleksandar Mitrovic was brilliant for the team scoring 6 goals in the qualifying stages. Branislav Ivanovic  will be the key player for Serbian team. His presence in the team will give some additional strength to the defense.  

Group Favorites: Considering their recent form, Brazil looks the group favorites. With a star studded squad, Brazil have the potential to lift the World Cup. Switzerland is also expected to surpass the group stage if nothing unexpected happened.
