Dribbling has been one of the toughest skill to learn in football. The dribbler needs to have great concentration, balance, speed and techniques. Tricking one defender is a difficult task in the game, but there are gifted players who tricks a lot of competitors and accomplishes given task.  There are many tricks that dribblers use to test the opponents, like cruyff turn, flip flap, Marseille turn etc. 

Football World Cup has been a grand stage to test skills of the players. Those who do the best will be noticed throughout his entire career. So there are players whom try to showcase their best skills in the grand stage. We are going to evaluate a list of players whom shined at Russia with their amazing dribbling skills. 

Kylian Mbappe

The 19 year old french striker has been exceptional at Russia. Kylian Mbappe's World Cup journey included 21 dribbles till the quarter final match.  The Paris Saint-Germain F.C forward was in the field for 354 minutes. 

Kylian Mbappe struck 3 goals at Russia with two being in the group stage and one was against Argentina in the round of 16. His round of 16 performance was crucial in guiding the France team to quarter finals. His immense speed and physique favored him to surpass any defenders. The Argentinian defenders were in a total confusion to stop the French forward.

Mbappe has made an average dribble of 5.25 till the quarter finals. But Mbappe's semi final performance wasn't at its best. His deliberated fouls against Belgium invited a lot of criticisms for the striker. As they found their final slot, Mbappe has to maintain the skills and gift the 2nd triumph for the french side. 

Neymar

The Man who invited a lot of criticisms for his performance at Russia. Neymar's foul appeals has been a trend in social media for several weeks. He used to fall in the penalty box and was an unfair act from the star player. Brazil's quarter final exit against Belgium once again added spice to the criticisms. 

But forgetting all these, Neymar was an excellent dribbler at Russia. The forward made 22 dribbles at the World Cups from his 5 outings(with an average of 4.4 dribbles per game). Neymar was capable of doing much more considering his performance in the UEFA Champions(had a dribbling stat of 7.3 dribbles per match).  

Neymar smashed two goals in the Russian World Cup and had an assist in a goal. The 26 year old Neymar may still have 1 or 2 World Cups. If he concentrated more on his skills than making dramas, Neymar can make wonders in the game of football.

Isco

The Real Madrid mid fielder has been brilliant at Russia. Isco has tricked the defenders 23 times and is in 3rd of the list. Although Spain team stunned against Russia in the round of 16, Isco's performance has been best in tournament.

The Spanish mid fielder was promoted to the striking area due to his exceptional striking skills. Isco wasn't best in goal strikings, but he was managed to score a goal against Morocco at the group stages. Isco was the key striker for the Spain team.

The 26-year old Isco played 4 games for his team side and showcased some amazing dribbling skills. Opponents were stunned in many occasions on seeing his phenomenal ball balancing skill.

Lionel Messi

Messi's squad once again disappointed at the FIFA event. Argentina's journey in the World Cup filled with a lot of dramas. At a time, the team was almost out of the tournament. But some how the team managed to surpass the group stage. But they surrendered to France in the round of 16.

Messi was seen struggling from his initial matches itself. Messi was seen struggling to surpass the Iceland defenders in the first match. A penalty miss in the match invited much more criticisms for the striker. But later on Messiah some how managed to find his pace. A crucial goal against Nigeria and couple of assists against France showed his actual talent.

The 31 year Messi once again failed to give the best to his national team. But the Barcelona man was exceptional with his dribbles. Messi completed 23 dribbles in the World Cup at an average of 5.75 dribbles per match.

Eden Hazard

Although failed in the semi finals, Belgium team has been exceptional in the World Cup. With the likes of Eden Hazard, de Bruyne, Lukaku Belgium showcased their best performance at the World Cups. Among these, the Chelsea forward, Eden Hazard was best in dribbling. From his 6 matches at Russia, Hazard created 23 dribbles and was best in the section.

His combinations with Lukaku in the world cup was threatening for the opponents. The forward scored 2 goals in the tournament and played key role in 2 more goals. Hazard showcased his best in their quarter finals against Brazil. Although he wasn't part of a goal or assist, Hazard was brilliant in the match, making 10 dribbles in the bout, which is highest in any World Cup match.  

Eden Hazard had a crucial role in guiding his national team to the semi finals. But Samule Umtiti's 51st minute goal thrashed Belgium's hope of reaching the finals.
